Rashomon Movie · 1950 · ★★★★☆ Kurosawa’s films always have more going on than you consciously consume. They’re an experience. Was surprised at the depth of this relatively short and unrushed film. The theme of subjectivity is explored and with subtlety missing from modern retellings. One of my fav filmmakers ever, this is a classic. It’s crazy how many other blockbusters are still copying from this 🤌🏼✨
