Glad your husband is handy. There are many in the twin cities today who are without heat. 

Easy way to convert from F to C:
(F temp - 32) * 0.5
To go the other way, C to F:
(C temp * 2) + 32

It’s actually 5/9 or 0.556 and not 0.5 but multiplying by half or 2 is easier to remember. The 32 is easy for those who use F since freezing is 32° and that matches up to 0° C.

-40 C/F here the last few days with a windchill of -50C/-58F. I think -40 is the only time the two measurement systems are the same. Our vehicle didn't start yesterday. Hubby plugged in the block heater but the plug was damaged. Fortunately he was able to get it fixed!
