In celebration of my beloved Babushka’s 96th birthday:

This is me and my oldest with my grandmother Janette in September 2010. I didn’t meet her until I was 40. I was given up for adoption when I was an infant. I searched my adult life for my biological parents. In 2009 I found and connected with my dad. Soon after I met his mother. 

In November 2010 I was present at her 90th birthday party. Three weeks later she died.

Thank you! Below is my favorite picture of her. She was an amazing woman and force of nature. I am sad that I did not grow up knowing her but grateful for the Tim I did get with her.
