Godzilla is a much more compelling character than King Kong Dunno why Hollywood likes anthropoid ape characters. I don’t like the planet of the apes franchise either. Godzilla is properly lovecraftian. A primordial force and inscrutable reptilian intelligence. Kong is just meh.
