Thought experiment: Imagine all your LLM access vanishes overnight

Take away my access to almost anything else, and I'd shrug and find a workaround

Restrict me from LLMs and you'd be banishing me into the Dark Ages

The tech's so transformative, it feels like a human right

there's a point in the adoption curve of every new thing beyond which you cannot take it back. for instance, you cannot take back cars or personal computers. it would be impossible to imagine our world without them. these things were new at one point but have been assimilated into the culture. perhaps LLM are at this point now
