Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell, and yes, that applies to economic growth fueled by demographics and externalities, rather than by strict productivity gains from technological innovation and process improvement

Reason this is a hot take is that agrowth / decel and related concepts like this one are usually pounced on, esp with the e/acc lean of FC overall (generalizing slightly)
