I’d love to see more vampire attacks on X and/or Reddit. Does anyone here have the ability to create a bot that summarizes the last r/ethfinance daily discussion and posts it here? Or summarize daily the contributions from the twenty or so most prolific Ethereum casters on X? I don’t want to just link to content on Reddit or X, I want that content to be brought here, initially with bots if needed https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0xbf4d1f11

Would be better to incentive the user posting that stuff otherwise this'll just turn into an rss feed.

There was a project to create accounts for the top X posters, also as a way to reserve their usernames here on FC, and then replicate whatever they post on X here. This way it appears to come from their account, they start building a followership, and once they are ready to migrate, the account is waiting for them to be picked up. That could be an incentive for them to switch over later. I like that idea too but unsure where it stands

I guess the problem is reach. More dopamine on x for them not to bother moving across, which is wny I'm probably more in favour of looking forward rather than back, and incentive new creators rather than old. Plus i hate the idea of inequality and giving some people (the least needy in some respects) a boost.

You can still incentivize new creators here, and help established influencooors switch from X! Both are not exclusive propositions. But if we are to bootstrap FC's network effect only by relying on new creators, this could take a generation. The vampire attack is a speedrunning hack

Yeah, fair enough. As long as they don't incentivize those fucking awful adverts for things like industrial strength hoovers that can suck paint off a wall and articulated 3D printed dragons that fit in a marble.
