Shouldn't this moderation help text in channel settings be updated now that the power badge is gone?

The mentioned how the want to restrict the posts made in channels to only be seen in channels And that the only way the all the ‘public’ will be seeing your casts is when you post without channel Do you think it’s a good one? (I don’t)

Interesting. It's the way Reddit operates. I'm ambivalent on this. There's been a few occasions where my cast didn't fit nicely in a channel, so I would end up posting outside any channel or in /no-channel. But of course the vast majority of accounts with few followers will get no reach if they post outside of channels (possibly as a result of not understanding how cast distribution works). They will then get bored, and churn, so I understand the motivation to force everyone into channels. On balance, I'd think it kind of makes sense

But won’t that mean that there won’t be much room for channels to go anymore Asides the channels that are already well established Cus then, everyone will know that if they make posts in a channel, the views they get will be greatly reduced So they won’t bother posting in channels anymore… then, channels won’t grow
