A positive milestone that somehow creeped up without me or many others noticing:

Geth is now under 2/3 of all validators!

In practice, this means that if geth has a bug that other clients do not have, the chain will stop finalizing for over a week, giving us time to fix the situation. https://i.imgur.com/WO2djKp.jpg

Thanks to all those in the community who have advocated hard for client diversity ahead of and since the merge! Still a ways to go but things are trending in the right direction.

I’m running Besu/Nimbus and happy to report that after a rough start post-merge, the attestation rate is now near-flawless.
