seeing more people talking about using llms to produce final written content (not to do research). for me, this has been v unsatisfactory in writing anything meant to develop/communicate a new concept. is it just me?

I’m with you on this, but I also realize it might be an emotional inhibition from my own upbringing and training. As the next gen grows up with LLMs being ubiquitous, using them for this type of use case is likely to become fully normalized

i would like it to be better — i think i'm inhibited not emotionally but rather in the same way that i would be inhibited from assigning a piece of work to an incompetent human! (i think! maybe the problem is psychoanalytically deep 😂)
