I disagree with @nic's take here that staking yields are so attractive that not having them in an ETF is unappealing. Why? Because the yields are not that high, 4% or less. Ethereum doesn't overpay it's stakers by diluting out hodlers. https://twitter.com/nic__carter/status/1758164092982800747

If retail and institutional investors are willing to buy a BTC ETF that returns no yield, I don't see why they wouldn't want to buy ETH ETF that also doesn't return a yield. A yield-bearing ETF would certainly be more attractive than one without, but there's still a market for bare exposure to ETH price alone

If you don’t even know about a possible yield - and 90% of potential buyers probably don’t - then no yield is a nothing burger for a risk on asset that might go up 5x in no time.
