Just had another instance of a Grab driver not picking me up and heading in the opposite direction because he didn’t want to incur the penalty for canceling the booking himself. Of course he was unresponsive over text & call Annoying to cancel a legit booking several minutes in. It’s getting harder to rely on Grab

I think there’s imbalance of supply via demand. I doubt there’s enough drivers relative to the demand idk. It just seems especially problematic in SG. Ride hailing in China is god-like.

Definitely too few drivers, at both peak and off-peak hours. I can’t even get the more expensive Grab Premium. Which goes back to a problem of incentives. I’d be willing to pay more (and for Grab to compensate drivers more, and attract more drivers) for reliability. But that’s not even an option
