Democrat Party is a giant, unofficial corporation with its aides, consultants, politicians, "journalists", influencers, and many more.

When you have that many high-paying jobs on the line, primary goal becomes the dividends of the company, not winning elections.

Seeing the election as "Dems failed" is the wrong analysis. They overwhelmingly succeeded by raising & spending $1b+ and filled the pockets of their team. They achieved their primary goal and will continue to do so.

When you shift your mind framework from "classic political party who needs to win elections" to "a corporation who needs to sell a product", everything falls in line. Dems are not losing, they're just winning a different race that they prefer to participate in.
