Degen

Degen sentiment is low and it’s forming its 7th monthly red candle since launch. 

What can Degen do to bring more eyes/attention and positive sentiment? 

Here are my thoughts 👇

Degen since the first cardano pump and dump. Over invested in @base by ALOT Found /funnygifs and @successfrens

1. Locking 

Locking tokens especially for 3 months is high risk so the reward needs to be equalized. Right now I’d say the locking mechanism is high risk/low reward 
-Consider shortening the locking period or increasing the reward (eg: lockers receive a portion of the fees generated from raindrops)

2. Tipping

Make tipping fun again. It’s not fun to throw tips at people not knowing if you’ll be banned during the season for some arbitrary reason 
-Consider rewarding good tippers (eg. tip allocation boosts for people that tip 100 degen to 100 people during a season vs. banning bad tippers and scaring the majority of the community

Tipping used to be so common place, but now it seems so rare, that I wonder what people are doing with their tips! I also miss the art shares where 1,2,3 places got a degen prize in the form of a tip.

This would have been back in March, April, May, time last year can’t remember when the degen overlords put a stop to it, but it was classed  as “farming”. It was a shame because it was a great way for creatives to get a boost to their degen for that month. Since April 2024 I’ve gone from getting 70k on tips to like 200 degen in a month lol. This month of feb has been the best month for me in about 6 months. Wild
