Degen

Degen sentiment is low and it’s forming its 7th monthly red candle since launch. 

What can Degen do to bring more eyes/attention and positive sentiment? 

Here are my thoughts 👇

Degen since the first cardano pump and dump. Over invested in @base by ALOT Found /funnygifs and @successfrens

2. Tipping

Make tipping fun again. It’s not fun to throw tips at people not knowing if you’ll be banned during the season for some arbitrary reason 
-Consider rewarding good tippers (eg. tip allocation boosts for people that tip 100 degen to 100 people during a season vs. banning bad tippers and scaring the majority of the community

3. Banning

It’s not a good look for a community to ban a good portion of the community.
-Consider throttling allocations if there’s bad behavior instead of banning. Train the community on what the degen team would prefer to see instead of disowning many loyal hodlers and community members

I’m keeping the hat on because I believe things can turn around. 

There’s been a lot of experimenting and most of those experiments so far have not had the intended effect of the cause but with some tweaks I think more positive sentiment can come around

1. Locking 

Locking tokens especially for 3 months is high risk so the reward needs to be equalized. Right now I’d say the locking mechanism is high risk/low reward 
-Consider shortening the locking period or increasing the reward (eg: lockers receive a portion of the fees generated from raindrops)

I think with a little advice and ideas from the community things can get better

I get it meme coins are worthless and utility tokens are a safe bet but I’m still bullish on degen and a little stubborn
