I don't think thousands of Americans making accounts on Red Note are mocking US security concerns, as the New York Times claims. Instead, they're making fun of US "reporters" like the New York Times' so-called "media professionals" who have Pulitzer prizes in their offices. They're ignoring the war and genocide happening in 2024. They've left dozens of their Palestinian colleagues to die without any support and forced Americans to use Chinese apps to get around censorship. Yes, NYT - it is all about media.
