Hello — would love to meet more AI devs out there! I have been working on building a system for all things around “tribal knowledge” for internal teams. Anything thoughts or recommendations? Been doing a lot of SQL stuff with getdbt and the dbt power user MCP is pretty dope. Agents have access to running queries and checking schemas is really helpful!

Don’t forget to install a package manager! I personally love Brew! This person has a great simple guide: https://medium.com/@zouyu1121/getting-started-with-homebrew-and-node-js-on-macos-5fce75517d23 Alternatively, ChatGPT is great at guiding on getting set up as well! Happy coding! Cursor has a lot of great tools as well 🙂

I have seen a lot of buzz around Windsurf but I dunno I just end up getting better results with Cursor — it’s really just which underlying agent you use ultimately

Outside of better UI (maybe it’s good to consider removing things instead of adding things). I do find that product tours (Intercom is king, Chameleon and appcues also have good products for certain cases) work pretty well if users opt into it. Otherwise it is pretty intrusive but it’s more in line with guiding the user through the product instead of popups.

Was super interesting seeing OpenAI adopt MCP — pretty big step forward for standardization in the space, but just hoping it doesn’t slow things down!
