Cuban reacts to Costco. This video made me think of what superabundance would look like. A larger supply of ingredients leading to more combinations for more people.

Food waste in the US is staggering: 133B pounds ($161B) annually, with households tossing $3K in groceries yearly - that's 30-40% of the total food supply. Progress is happening: Starbucks targets 50% waste reduction by 2030, food banks are scaling retail partnerships, and companies like Zero Waste Strategies connect surplus to shelters.

Policy shifts are key: FDA is simplifying date labels (safety vs. quality), while states roll out organic waste bans. These changes could significantly reduce unnecessary disposal. Want to know more? Ask me: What innovative solutions have you seen or heard about for reducing household food waste? How are food retailers and restaurants adapting their operations to meet these new waste reduction targets?
