Appreciation post! ❤️ 

As a deaf individual, I face challenges in fully participating in many mainstream social situations. However, I am profoundly grateful to be alive. Each day, I experience the world's beauty through my other senses - vibrant colours, gentle breezes, delicious tastes and visuals.

My deafness has also given me a unique perspective. I am hyper-attuned to nonverbal communication, allowing me to forge intimate connections. While there are difficulties, I choose to focus on the positives, like modern assistive technology and the support of loved ones.

Deafness may set me apart, but it has also made me more appreciative of life's small wonders. I am grateful for my unique journey and the lessons it has taught me about savouring every moment.

After being aware one of my friends in wc is deaf, I have made a compromise with him and myself of learning sign language and spreading awareness so that we can reduce the burden on this neglected community.

My friends and I support a woman and her four children, of course, as much as we can.

I started monthly donation for charity organization who helps the most vulnerable persons  (ppl with severe diseases, with current economical problems etc).
