Now is objectively the most brutal fundraising environment of the cycle. Founders, just to help each other from a motivation standpoint, how many VC rejections did you receive before closing your first check/round?

I stopped counting but maybe somewhere around 30. Other founders told me that’s not a lot, but I got disillusioned with the process. Turns out hearing no all the time is not fun. We got our first check through an angel investor who believed in our mission.
