What’s todays equivalent of being a kid and getting to play with computers in the 80, 90s?

if one defines the baseline measure as children being drowned in tech (consumption or creation), particularly mobile. then any unusual measurements would be those children that shun it and are not entangled with it. as tech was the fringe, now reality is the fringe.
