We’ve built the most customisable tech on Base, but it hasn’t played out as expected. The tech will be there and still be supported by us.
We were wrong in thinking it was what users needed.
We figured this out a long time ago, but as founders motivated by providing long-term value, it didn’t feel right to chase quick profits.
Yet, that’s exactly what’s driving most crypto products - narrative, hype, meta, and then people move on. (As a product, this approach can work, but the spot has already been claimed by Pump and Sol)
Base is different.
For us:
Driving fundamental change has always been our priority, but at the same time, understanding the trenches with our users matters more than building something too innovative.
We are currently ideating/building a few products/experiences.
