- “You need a stable substrate wherein technological fucking around and finding out can happen” 
- “You want a lot of really high-quality content creators and then you want a lot of content consumers and you want them to converge in the product every day, all day” 
- “You really need things like a stable currency, contracts, property rights, you need these like basic kind of economic ingredients. And then what bubbles up from that who knows?” 
- “What we've had up to this point is volatility everywhere, in the user base, on the protocol, on the application layer and so you're in this sort of chaotic storm of disorder and you're like what the fuck is going on here”
