i find it so funny that AMC has a “thank you to our investors” screen at the beginning of every movie, which i have to assume is a meme stock reference

I look forward to the day I can explain to my kids the absurdity of reddit retail investors believing they could successfully collectively will a stock to skyrocket to trillions in market cap by buying and holding. Every time I see that community rear it's head I lose a little more hope for the future lol
