Bluesky raises $15M in Series A on a userbase of 13M. 

Led by... drumroll please... Blockchain Capital!

Feels like a parallel universe.

Bluesky has raised a total of $23m with a reported 13m users. 

Merkle Manufactory has raised nearly ~10x more with a user base ~1% as big. 

Is embracing crypto just that much more enticing to investors? What am I missing?

My uneducated guess is monetization. WC was able to acquire it's user base despite having a sign up cost. You also likely have a much higher % of monetizable users here with much higher average disposable income than on Bluesky.

Coinbase employee (Investigatooor), personal account. Onchain is the future.

And as to yet, not a very effective way to advertise to us.
