People like Rufo are so intellectually or morally bankrupt it's painful. The claim picked up by Vance and spoken by Trump was that Haitian immigrants moving to Springfield were kidnapping and eating pets/cats and dogs. They refuse to admit this claim was baseless, a gross dehumanization attempt towards a group of people just trying to find work and pursue the American dream. 

Instead they try to claim vindication by pointing to isolated incidents outside of Springfield not committed by Haitians. They are the clowns, the bad faith actors who have no interest in the truth so long as they can weave a narrative to gain power, at the expense of good people. 

We can't even have a normal discussion about how to provide better support to the *growing* community, because their solution, which is being justified by their dehumanization attempt, is currently deportation of *legal* immigrants!

I can't get over how insanely stupid this standard is. Under these standards every white person in Ohio could be associated with pet eating so long as one white guy was found doing it. But they would never agree with that generalization for white people for some reason...
