Are there bands selling tickets with an NFT of the music from the concert attached yet? So that the ticket has resale value regardless of if you go to the concert or not?

That would be so cool. However, if the band works with a music label they might not have rights to do this. Corollary: If web3 can unshackle the musicians from music labels, it will revolutionize music. Forever.

Who cares. The best labels will do this first. Incredible new business model for all involved. True fans want every live track. Pearl Jam, Phish and others have proven this.

Re “best labels”: Possibly In my experience, labels have no need to innovate unless really existential threatened. Even for TikTok or Reels (which is a big top of funnel to buy music) a lot of $$ has to be paid per view to labels, who get way more $$ than creator
