Good afternoon. I've been an idealist when it comes to relationships. I believed that real, sincere and understanding love works wonders. I judged my friends who always said it was better to be alone than with anyone. Eventually married a man who had debts, alcohol problems and no stable job. It's been 10 years.
Husband's a drunk, lies on the couch every night drunk as hell. Because of debts we took away his pre-marital apartment, we live in mine. He doesn't go to work, so sometimes he finds a hack job to buy a bottle. Good thing we didn't have kids. At least we're smart enough here. And I'm not offended by the money or anything. I'm offended that my ideals didn't pay off... Now I don't believe in anything.
