My beloved husband was in love with his best friend's wife when he was young. Realizing that nothing would happen to him, he distanced himself and after some time married me.
I knew the story (we talked in the same company), but he seemed to genuinely love me and our daughter, became a wonderful husband and father - no complaints during the years of marriage. She recently divorced her husband and remembered an old admirer, initiated communication, flirting.....
Anyway, yesterday he went to her. He apologized, promised not to abandon his daughter, but “I just now realized that I still love her”. And I'm sitting here, and I don't understand, is 12 years together worthless? If I'd known it was going to be like this, I wouldn't have married him.

@arungutr An unpleasant topic was when my wife started texting with my friend. It was nothing criminal - they threw memes at each other and discussed general plans (I was part of these plans too, of course, groceries for camping, hotel on vacation, etc.).
And I got jealous, asked them not to communicate, they stopped. Then I asked my friend to block my wife everywhere, my friend said I was a jerk, but I obeyed.
Eventually, after a couple years, my wife left me and married someone else. But they're family friends with my friend. They're doing well, the ex-wife is raising two kids from that marriage. And I must be a real jerk, because there was no cheating and I got jealous.

@arungutr Why do people like to stick their important opinions and their noses into other people's lives? For example, my husband's relatives went on vacation to a country house. There was a lake there. I wore a swimsuit with curtains and a thong, the swimsuit is beautiful, the body too. Then from him listened to ohi and ahi, say your already modest should be more modest, married, children, etc. Belly pierced, what the hell for a swimsuit, all in shorts running, etc. I see he began to get into it all, no no I will say at a quarrel, say it is necessary to be more modest, to wear ordinary shoes, ordinary pants, etc....
