if you are trying to be more overall productive just do vim bindings in vs code if you find satisfaction in spending time configuring the perfect and minimal tool use nvim

tried migrating to a full neovim setup multiple times but none stick, using vim inside vscode works best (plugins, keyboard shortcuts, etc)
