IMO the privacy ecosystem needs to get more pragmatic. I've been seeing way too many "let's create a completely private closed system" projects, and not enough simple wallets that are just ethereum wallets, but which offer an easy to use integrated private send feature.

I fear that with thousands of petabytes to be migrated to decentralised storage, it would take hundreds of thousands to build machines capable of hosting such file sizes, let alone split them across multiple devices for further decentralisation. Unfortunately it seems like a money pit.

Ironically as I was looking into it I noticed that archive.org had optional ipfs as well. It seems like they are beginning to move that direction (which is great to see). My thoughts were to bring together a community that would all share and partake in the hosting, but my fear is it would be a money pit for everyone.
