One of my big strong opinions, loosely held is… You gotta ship your creative shit early, fast, and furiously because your first 100 creations are unoriginal, trope-filled, and derivative (not an insult) because that’s all you can learn from just consuming Execution + Feedback Loops is how you find your voice 🫡

some gems here + in the replies also, for me, 1/ that initial burst produces higher quality, than my inner critic judges in the moment 2/ at age 15, I read some early Hemingway (like, written when he was 17). That destroyed my confidence for 15 more years. Don't look at others, just Do Dope Shit!

On 1/ dude i hear that - I now limit myself to 2 edit sessions on any essay I'm writing. I always allow myself to go back in after publishing to change, but I make myself hit send to keep the momentum 😩
