I was curious about Clanker memecoin market cap numbers: - how many minutes before the typical memecoin trends down without recovery? - what is the MC for the typical memecoin, what's the lower and upper quartile look like? Dune can't do box & whisker plots, and struggles with more data points (last 7 days, 1st 240 minutes of the token's life) but you can still get the jist by looking at this: - 3rd quartile Clankers peak after 8 minutes, the median one peaks after 1-2 minutes - vast majority of clankers won't exceed 75k, and the median clanker won't go higher than 50k https://dune.com/queries/4358795

it will be fascinating to watch the effects of anti-sniping measures. Since I can't imagine anyone launching with 50k of own initial liquidity, Hypothesis: median size will go below 25k if you take away upside from early liquidity providers, I mean, snipers Coins' ability to escape will become even more of a cabal game, without disorganized competing snipers playing at the beginning

Yeah I think there's definitely an argument to be made that the snipers fulfil an important price discovery function by providing early liquidity...
