i'm not religious, but was raised with religion. wife found religion later and actively practices.

oldest kid started indoctrination this week, which we're all OK with (for now). but now she's asking me about my personal faith, why i don't regularly go to church, etc. 😆

thoughts on how to respond respectfully?

another observation: more than half the families I see in our church do not have dads attending regularly. You and your daughter (and the rest of your family) are not alone in this setup.

I suspect the kids know their dads' real god is fantasy football

my kid asks me every morning whether Bitcoin went up more than Ethereum. Then he returns to talking about whether a legion would defeat a phalanx, if they both had kevlar and lasers

but then who in our family will take responsibility for all the sweet memecoin trading action we'd miss out on on Sunday mornings? 🫠
