I'm thinking out loud, trying to clarify vague thoughts about kinds of wallet history that would be best to surface, elevate, and celebrate.
my gut says: social trading apps should underweight easy things to discover, overweight hard things to fake. when an app makes it easy for the crowds to mindlessly follow, that alpha is gone and it turns into risk.
Just like at a poker table, if one guy goes all-in every hand, they can steal the ante for a few hands, but will fall blindly into the inevitable trap. The rules of poker evolved to deal with that easy strategy, because the game is more fun and sustainable with the right level of complexity.
Markets are cruel and rule-less though, so the analogy breaks down a bit 0 reply
