just wasted 1.5 hours debugging:

- copy-pasted a bug
- found the bug
- fixed bug in first location
- code runs through the second location (I forgot about it)
- bugfix didn't work, look deeper and deeper and deeper

Found and fixed! All it took was replacing a ? with a /

I once spent a week looking for the cause of a blue screen in my windows kernel code, and finally realized that I had made a low-level mistake: a misspelling of a variable name

So when you spend all day trying to solve something, you sleep and the next day you solve it, it was always there, rest helps.
