American. All I know is how to pass with my right foot. And defend. German toddlers have better ball skills than me. Any tips on how to play with my kid? Straight passing bores him, and he just walks away from shooting drills

I wish I could show him kick-ups, or other tricks to show off to other kids at recess. What was your (and everybody's) favorite thing to do with a football when you first started playing?

I think the best thing to do is to get him playing with his peers if you can. Hard for them to see what the fuss is all about if they don't enjoy the game at that age.
