Just looked at the stats of my frame users, here is what we have: Started with about 100 requests on April 1 and now have about 150K every day. I am glad you love the frames, but this puts a good load on the servers. I do not want to make access to the frames gated, and hope you guys can support it with a tip 🫶

Kind of curious that the unique # of users on 2024-04-04 is roughly the same as today? While checks are up 50%? And the # of daily DAU and Degen holders is climbing the whole time... What does it all mean 😵

ofc people check more often as market price moves (falls) and allocations change (reporting was unreliable, allocations got slashed). Th frame is a free service, it saves people from reading the Dune query or calling the dev api themselves, but appears fairly expensive for the value it is actually adding to the world

What do you make of the fact that unique users isn't changing? Competing frame services I guess? Also, what makes you say it's expensive?

first, it's amazing that FID + tip allocations (which depend on work + engagement) appear to be reasonably strong anti-sybil. Not sure if it's saturation or competition, would need more data to tease out maybe? my use of "expensive": edge server computation + cryptography + Hub load, it could just be a bookmarklet

Agreed, I'm doing planning for a frame of my own that must run on a VPS and the fact I have to generate images is concerning me... but it's also exciting to see what happens, and there's some stuff in the frame experience I'm thinking of that will blow the web UX out of the water! 250 $degen
