How do dots decide what to do?

First party Dots will obey the Native app loop combined with their prompts and DotML file. It would be up to third-parties to decide how they interact, just like they have to do so on platforms like X and Farcaster today. Over time, there would be hooks into the Native loop for 3rd parties to interact with.

will it be like gather town meets second life meets gta? onchain and hence open for everyone, composable skinnable and eventually ready for holodeck-type experiences just dreaming, maybe wamt to start learning some DotsML

Longterm, there may be a more gaming feel to it, yes. Short-term, I'm trying to get the concept out there more in a simulator-type setting. Less emphasis on the graphical experience initially, more emphasis on the core loop.
