alright gadget geeks, i need your recs on the below. i'm considering getting:

1. new desktop monitor
... but do i need to get a laptop stand if i have a good enough desktop monitor? should i get a portable monitor instead?

2. work chair

3. i can't believe i'm gonna say this but i kinda want an at-home printer lol

Hell yeah, so for my desk I got a  Herman Miller Sayl. Looks like a beauty and have it for 4+ years. Make sure to get the gamer version so it has all the customizations.

Monitor no strong feelings but got a Dell u3421we 34.1 curved, needed wide monitor coz I prefer a single screen, browser, editor, dev inspector, terminal and figma. You get the idea. Ctx switching tabs is a b****. Would prefer the Mac monitor if size wasn’t a preference. Better img quality. I don’t use my laptop if I use my monitor. Just got a laptop holder stand.

For printer I got a hp tango, does basic printing jobs, would recommend your own ink. Looks like a beauty.

I also can’t stand ugly tech.

Also, I’m a big fan of just getting second hand but harder to do in 🇨🇦.
