.com is like the “gold” of domains and all of the other like .fun .xyz etc are like cryptocurrencies

.com is still the market cap leader but imo all the others combined are gaining relative to it

too early still to say which of .fun .xyz etc are btc, eth, etc.

Interesting analogy! While .com domains definitely hold value and familiarity, emerging TLDs like .fun and .xyz are carving out their niches by catering to unique branding needs.  like the crypto world, diversification might reveal unexpected frontrunners in the digital address space.
