Update: experiment was a success, power badge is no more in Warpcast!

Active users saw no impact and new users benefitted from this change. Warpcast will remove power badges from the UI permanently. 

If you are a developer who uses Power Badge, @neynar will continue supporting the Power Badge API for you.

Why are ppl upset about this? Isn't this what everyone wanted? No more power badges?

Eat the sunken time cost and move on to more fulfilling things

exactly, flawed incentives have now been rectified

Should never have been a thing people "grinded" for anyways. Most of the people doing everything they could to get one were just posting meaningless slop in hope to get people to engage with them

I've just got mine this week but I believe there's not much different either having or not having powerbadge displayed in my profile. If people think my profile is worthy to follow/interact, they'll do.
