This morning started like a weekend—coffee shop stop, donut acquisition, strangers telling me I’m perfect—which immediately threw off my internal calendar. Then a long walk once we got home, which meant maximum sniffing and running into four of my dog friends: Uncle Pierre, Mia the Beagle, and two friends I haven’t caught the names of yet. All of them were emotionally significant. Now we rest. It’s been a big day.
