some of the recent restrictions to channels make Farcaster feel like an exclusive club

would be cool to have an option to create decentralized channels where every member is an owner. I think Farcaster would be the best place to start a community this way.

hmm considering it’s a pretty low effort action, there’s a chance it can happen

in open organizations norms regulate the behaviour of users without enforcement. Like in wikipedia, contributions fall overwhelmingly on the positive side, even though there’s a freedom to vandalize the website

but friction is still needed to keep a bad actor from completely wiping out a community — maybe some sort of voting mechanism

what if someone joins and removes everyone else?
