The meeting in Liverpool ended with a score of 2:2. The hosts scored Kody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, who converted a penalty. The visitors' goals were scored by Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo.

Liverpool leads the Premier League standings with 46 points. Manchester United (23 points) is 13th.
