In the summer of 2022 I gave myself 6 months to quit my AI job at Chainlink and go build something My job was amazing—the Product/DS team was shaping up to be industry-leading w/ ex-TensorFlow, ex-Meta talents and you could tell Chainlink had momentum in the financial industry But deep down i felt like i wasn't making any progress on the issues that mattered most to me, like decentralizing and democratizing access to AI. Things were going the opposite direction during Covid and with an acceleration of GPT-like scaling So i took the leap, told everyone around me (colleagues included) that I’d go build a crypto x AI startup, i began tweeting about it and just a month later I got a DM from a partner at a16z :) Its been quite a journey, and we're just getting started.
