Japanese investment firm Metaplanet announced that it has bought another 38,464 Bitcoins (BTC) worth approximately 300 million yen ($2 million).  The purchase brings the company's Bitcoin reserves to 398,832 units, worth about ¥3.75 billion ($26 million).  After this announcement, the company's stock price increased by 5.87%.  MetaPlant, known as Asia's MicroStrategy, has accepted Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset since May.  The company recently announced a partnership with SBI VC Trade for tax optimization and the use of Bitcoin as collateral.  MetaPlant management also plans to buy more bitcoins by raising an additional ¥299.7 million.
