I’m new around here, why do I need to buy warps to post in certain channels?

warps are an off-chain currency - they can be used for a lot of different things such as gifting, etc.. a brand new one is channel-gating Channel admins can choose to gate off a channel with warps to deter spammers and bots from posting/shilling The goal is to provide admins a tool to increase the quality post rate
