Asking for channel access feels debasing Also makes me want to cast less if I can't just hop into a channel when I find a new interest Maybe it encourages replying? But.. I can't shake the feeling that it's classist - which I dislike

That is why I made /poetry open with a join here link. You don't have to ask, you can join. Also means I will remove members that are spamming. Will see how it works. On the other hand, I might also go and experiment with some kind of low-threshold gate.
