My top 6 would have been

1 Estonia
2 The Netherlands
3 Italy
4 Switzerland
5 Latvia
6 Iceland (VAEB is the new vibe)

I really like the artist who represented The Netherlands, already before it was known he would do Eurovision this year. So, that helped in getting him up there, I think, more than just him being Dutch.

C’est la vie! I could tell that was a tribute to his mom even though I couldn’t fully understand the lyrics. And Claude is only 21 years old! 

Maybe Espresso Macchiato will grow on me, but I couldn’t really get into the Italian caricature style. 

I also think I didn’t appreciate Lucio Corsi’s “Volevo Essere Un Duro” as much as I should have. Maybe it sounded a little too old school but they did a great job blending 1970s glam rock with Italian folk influences
